Quiet Time Soy Wax Melts

Our Quiet Time Soy Candle has been a top seller since its accidental inception. While attending a local farmers market, I told an eight year old little boy the story of how this candle came to be:

About 5 years ago my wife and I were masking a rather large wholesale Christmas candle order. I had almost all of our oils spread out on the counter...which was many five pound jugs. I was pouring four dozen candles at a time, but when I finished, realized that I used the wrong oils for the fragrance blend we were making. Without thinking it through,  I told my wife... and that's another story, but everything she said was more than likely true. When she asked me what I was going to do with the candles I made, I responded rather quickly that I would take them to the next market and see if I could sell them. I sold all 48 candles and was able to sleep in the bedroom again (joking). So we continued make the candle, and to this day, it remains on our top seller list.

When I told this eight year old young boy that story, he repsonded, "you know what that is don't you?" to which I replied, "No, what?" "A beneficial accident" he said and as he stared me down. He was right...absolutely right! That little boy quickly made me realize how thankful I was not only for that "beneficial accident," but for all of them that I had been blessed with over my 52 years of accidental mistakes.
